Members’ Newsletter 26th November 2019
Sorry to send 2 Newsletters in quick succession but we now need a quick shift of focus to our Christmas Concert on Tuesday 17th December so please take time to go over the following:
CONCERT DAY REHEARSAL
There will be a rehearsal at circa 5.00 pm in the Church after which there will NOT be time to go home so turn up in your concert gear. You may want to bring something to eat and drink before the Concert but please do so behind the scenes as the audience will soon be entering. Timing details to follow.
As we will have fewer singers, we will be able to fit everybody into 7 rows instead of 8 and we will use this seating plan https://www.cirencester-choral-soc.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/CHOIR-SEATING-PLAN-Christmas-19.pdf from this Tuesday. Inevitably this means moving a few people into unfamiliar territory but please give it a go and by all means agree to swap places.
CONCERT ETIQUETTE AND DRESS
We should maintain our high standards of on-stage behaviour as part of our high-performance standard, so the usual rules apply and the same dress (black with scarves and pocket handkerchiefs respectively (and respectably!) as for the recent concert.
TICKETS AND POSTERS
Please make every effort to sell tickets (adults £10, U18s free but require a ticket) and replace the 23rd concert posters with the new ones and circulate this link to the poster to your friends and relatives: https://www.cirencester-choral-soc.org.uk/december-2019/
