Raymond has just reversed the big trailer into the
Bingham Hall parking area, but where, oh where is the boss? We
just had to stand around and wait. Well that's what most good
workers do anyway. |
| Hurrah, the boss has arrived together with John
Martin. |
There's a lot of it. Could we get it all on the
trailer in one go? |
| We decided that we could, but it was all too heavy
to push up the ramp, so half the sections had to come off first. |
Its on the trailer with the spare sections
blocking in the rest, but how is the driver expected see out of
his back window? Oh well, never mind. He never uses the mirror any
way. |
| Raymond, Bob and Richard got into the car while
the others drove on ahead. Unfortunately at that moment the waste
disposal lorry came down Queen Street, so it was some time before
we arrived at the Parish Church. |
Well someone has to supervise the workers. |
| All the loose bits came off the trailer and were
stacked against the churchyard wall. |
The rest were wheeled in on the trolley. |
| But there were still some odd bits to bring in. |
The trolley had to be re-stacked. |
| And pushed through the churchyard. |
Until the shed was reached. |
| Take stock. Was the harvest all safely gathered
in? We decided it was and locked the door. |
A good job done, but in a few weeks time its all
got to come out again. |
